J.R. Beall - The Beall Tool Company
- Newark, Ohio -
J.R. Beall has been a fine woodworker for many years. He began his career by building musical instruments including dulcimers, hammer dulcimers, guitars, harpsichords and more. He continued his professional woodworking career for many years, during which time he built clocks, furniture, wooden tools & wooden machinery. Over 30 years ago, J.R. founded the Beall Tool Company which caters to woodworkers of all skill levels and carries a variety of tools that woodworkers love and have come to rely on.
CNC technology has been a longtime staple to J.R.'s business. Around 20 years ago, he was faced with a challenge that forced him to implement CNC technology into his shop.
Over the years he's had a variety of CNC machines in his shop, his most recent addition is the Axiom AR4Pro. There were two specific reasons why J.R. decided on an Axiom CNC over other options on the market. First was the liquid cooled spindle and the second is how quiet the machine is when running.
Ultimately, adding CNC technology to his shop has had a huge impact on business. J.R. and his team have been able to make more precise parts for his tool line much faster than they ever could before.
