Lynn Harvey - Gryphon Carpentry

Lynn Harvey certainly knows his way around the wood shop. He has spent many years producing superb custom cabinetry and architectural millwork. As years passed, Lynn noticed that physical limitations were impacting his woodworking abilities. He knew something had to change if he wanted to remain an active woodworker. The idea of automating many of the repetitive processes in his shop was Lynn's motivation to purchase an Axiom Elite CNC.

"My decision was actually based upon a suggestion made by my wife. I had been developing physical limitations that were impacting my ability to produce custom cabinetry. She thought CNC manufacturing would offer more flexibility in the size and weight of products I would be required to handle at work. She was absolutely correct!"

Initially, Lynn was aprehensive that adding a CNC to his shop would stifle his creativity. Ultimately he found the opposite to be true. Before having a CNC Lynn would occasionally abandon ideas that seemed too labor intensive. Now, he no longer avoids such projects. As a matter of fact, many of his projects have gotten more creative. 

Lynn has also been able to dramatically increase his production speed which keeps his customers happy and earns him new business.
